KEHATI Foundation, in collaboration with the Indonesian Stock Exchange, has recently launched two ESG-based stock indexes on December 20, 2021. One of them was the ESG Sector Leaders IDX KEHATI Index. This index was established to complement the SRI-KEHATI Index, which was previously launched in 2009 and has become the ESG investment reference at the Indonesian capital market.
The ESG Sector Leaders IDX KEHATI Index is an index containing stocks with an ESG performance assessment above their industrial average value. Such industries are divided according to their categorization at the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The index code at the Indonesian Stock Exchange is ESG SL IDX KEHATI.
The list of stocks included in the ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI Index will be reviewed and updated regularly in May and November. During the evaluation, the weight of each stock in the index will be limited at most to 15%.
