2020 is marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still ongoing. The world economy has been shaken, including Indonesia. Various environmental problems have also emerged amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This crisis should be a momentum to return to care for the earth. But the reality is not. Ecological disasters remain high, destructive activities are still occurring, and a number of policies are counterproductive to environmental preservation.
So how do the media record various environmental problems during 2020?
The Indonesian Environmental Journalists Society or The Society of Indonesia Environmental Journalists (SIEJ) together with the KEHATI Foundation held a media gathering entitled “Environmental Issues in the Media Frame Throughout 2020” on Thursday (03/12/2020), 09.30-12.30 WIB.
