World Forest Day is celebrated annually on March 21. In the midst of the threat of climate change, the function of forests is increasingly real. Sustainable forest, of course, requires the involvement of all parties, especially the community.
Sustainable forest management requires institutional management that supports people’s lives economically, socially and culturally.
Inspirational stories for the success of residents in utilizing and managing forests in appropriate and sustainable ways have been presented in the form of a webinar with the theme “Repair & Restore Forests: The Road to a Prosperous Forest Village Community” which is a collaboration between the KEHATI Foundation, TFCA-Sumatra, TFCA-Kalimantan, and Mongabay Indonesia on Thursday, 18 March 2021, 14.00-1600 WIB.
